A new range of reflectorless total stations has been developed by 342 Topcon. Called the ES series, the new models also feature TSshield – a Topcon Group innovation using a multi-function telematics-based communication module that locates the instrument. The ES package also gets the longest single-charge battery life in the industry – 36 hours – making it possible to work five full days without recharging.

High mobility is claimed for CIFA’s mobile concrete batching plant, the CIFAMOBILE 50. “This is the first ever CIFA concrete batching plant we’ve built. It’s highly mobile and can be transported on wheels,” said Marco Brambati, director of marketing and business planning at the firm. The machine features a mixer that can produce 1/3 of concrete/cycle. Hidromek is commencing work on developing its new wheeled loader line. Export manager Anil Bingöl said, “We have started our wheeled loader project and we hope to have our first prototype machine this year.” This will feature a 3m3 bucket and will be the first in a range of wheeled loaders from the firm. Machines with bucket capacities of 4m3 and then 5m3 will be developed in due course.
