A new range of reflectorless total stations has been developed by 342 Topcon. Called the ES series, the new models also feature TSshield – a Topcon Group innovation using a multi-function telematics-based communication module that locates the instrument. The ES package also gets the longest single-charge battery life in the industry – 36 hours – making it possible to work five full days without recharging.
JCB has launched its first five-stage-boom Loadall telescopic handler. The 540-200 has a 20m working height and a maximum lift capacity of 4tonnes. Using the same driveline as the 540-170, the machine is powered by JCB’s 75kW Dieselmax engine. The Loadall has a four-speed powershift transmission and uses a single servo joystick to control all boom functions.

The innovative polymer formulation shares technology with the proven Bigfoot outrigger pads, which help with load distribution in crane lift applications. The new polymer sheaves are said to offer key benefits over existing steel sheaves such as lower weight, which makes them easier to handle during installation or replacement.

Hamm has launched the smallest combination roller in the HD CompactLine roller range, the HD10C VT1m.
With a working width of just a metre and weighing 1.5tonnes, the new model is being launched with a permanent all-wheel drive as standard.
