The Spicer 318 HCVT from 2254 Dana Holding is for wheeled loaders with six- to nine-tonne operating weights and telescopic boom handlers with six- to 10 tonnes lift capacities.

The 318 HCVT blends controllability with efficiency from its use of two hydrostatic motors capable of working together to accommodate several displacement combinations.

Typically configured, the Spicer 318 HCVT offers full CVT functionality without torque interruption as well as an increase in efficiency at higher travel speeds - expect more than 20 per cent more efficiency over standard hydrostatic transmissions, said Dana.
