2254 Dana Rexroth’s HVT R3 is a hydro-mechanical variable transmission for wheeled loaders with engine outputs of up to 265kW and is the first power split transmission from the joint venture between Dana and 2253 Bosch Rexroth
Using a combination of hydrostatic and mechanical drives, the technologically advanced three-range transmission can offer up a fuel saving of up to 20% by delivering a stepless speed range from 0-40km/hr without clutches and without interrupting the drive.
Cleverly, the HVT R3 will allow the operator to preset a maximum travel speed, or preselect a fixed engine rpm and use the transmission’s characteristics to keep the engine working at its most fuel-efficient point.
Like other machines in Hidromek’s Gen series excavator range, the HMK370LC is fitted with Smartlink GPS which can track data, such as use periods, geographical position, fuel consumption values and maintenance times, to promote efficient machine and service management.
German company Lintec will present for the first time its specially designed and fully containerised Gussasphalt plant for the European Market, the CDD 1200 GA. The plant has a capacity of 20tonnes of Gussasphalt per hour (optional up to 20tonnes/hour), and was sold to the French company SMAC (belonging to the Colas Group) and will operate in the west of France near Rennes.

Liebherr has developed the LTM1750-9.1, a nine-axle all-terrain crane with a maximum lift capacity of 750 tonnes. The 52m telescopic boom machine is carried by the machine and offers a 154m maximum lift height, with a maximum working radius of 112m. A luffing fly jib can be added in 3.5m increments to take maximum lift height to 91m. Weighing in at 108 tonnes in transport configuration, the LTM puts down 12 tonnes per axle. However if the machine’s boom supports are removed the crane can travel at 11 tonnes
