Intermat awards for innovation

A jury of European experts from the fields of research and industry has chosen the winners of the 2012 Intermat Innovation Awards.

A jury of European experts from the fields of research and industry has chosen the winners of the 2012 242 INTERMAT Innovation Awards.

The awards reward machinery, techniques, services or products that contribute to the progress of the construction and construction materials industries.

The winners are:

6233 IMER Group  for its Carry 105 Electrique, an electrically-powered mini-dumper said to be a solution for handling materials inside closed spaces such as warehouses or glasshouses.

4110 Arcure for its Blaxtair, an embedded industrial obstacle detection system that allows reliable real-time recognition of pedestrians. It is the solution for pedestrian security within industrial areas.

4109 Mills for its Tourechaf, a new shoring tower for building and civil engineering. It has few and light components and is safe and simple use.

R. Brunone for the Convoyeur SB Spar, an innovative belt conveyor which uses the return belt to protect the product from the weather handling on the carrying belt. The return belt, historically positioned under the carrying belt is twisted and moved on top of the carrying belt to ensure a cover and protection.
