INTERMAT in Asia with ASEAN show

INTERMAT is developing its presence on the international market with its new INTERMAT ASEAN event. The INTERMAT international trade show for construction machinery is working with IMPACT, a Thai trade show organiser, to establish the new INTERMAT show for the whole ASEAN region. The first edition will take place in Bangkok, from 8th to 10th of June 2017. 242 INTERMAT is developing its presence on the international market with its new INTERMAT ASEAN event. The INTERMAT international trade show for construction machinery is working with IMPACT, a Thai trade show organiser, to establish the new INTERMAT show for the whole ASEAN region. The first edition will take place in Bangkok, from 8th to 10th of June 2017.

The ASEAN area is one of the world's fastest growing regions and the development of the infrastructure network is essential for the advancement of ASEAN countries. Infrastructure projects need to find sources of funding to ensure the economic growth. The ASEAN infrastructure market holds a huge potential over the next decade with an US$60 billion is needed/year until 2022 to fulfill all the infrastructure needs in the region.

INTERMAT ASEAN will present a complete range of products that suit the region’s needs. These will cover production and use of construction materials, earthmoving, civil engineering, concrete manufacture, buildings and work sites, lifting, handling, drilling, boring, road infrastructures, mining and quarry equipment, vehicles and transportation, components and accessories, demolition and recycling.

Supported by the Thai authorities, the show will display the latest innovations in relation with the regional needs, and conferences in order to assist ASEAN countries in their development. INTERMAT ASEAN takes over CONSTECH show already organised by IMPACT the last year, and including more than 300 exhibiting companies and 5.000 visitors from all around ASEAN countries.

This new event is in line with the international aim of INTERMAT to help building an efficient and sustainable infrastructure in this area of the world.
