Interest is strong in a highway project in Bosnia

Interest is strong in a major road contract in the autonomous Republika Srpska region of Bosnia. So far three Croatian companies, Ingra Inzinjering, Viadukt and Konstruktor have submitted bids for construction of the new highway that is planned and which will be 37km long. Interest is strong in a major road contract in the autonomous Republika Srpska region of Bosnia. So far three Croatian companies, 5437 Ingra Inzinjering, 5438 Viadukt and 1567 Konstruktor have submitted bids for construction of the new highway that is planned and which will be 37km long. The 1166 European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved a finance package worth some €150 million to fund construction of the highway. Bosnian roads company 1552 Autoputevi Republike Srpske has said that out of 31 companies which purchased documentation, a total of 12 bids were submitted. Bids arrived from the two unnamed companies from Republika Srpska, in cooperation with partners from Spain, Macedonia, Czech Republic and Italy, a total of two consortia from Turkey and Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey and a total of two building companies from Austria.
