Euro Auctions debut US auction takes place on 26 June 2013
Nearing 400 construction machinery and industrial equipment lots already set to go under the hammer on June 26th, the first US auction for 214 Euro Auctions at its recently acquired site in Newnan, near Atlanta, Georgia, USA is on course to be a real success.

The Northern Ireland-founded auctioneer’s American auction debut includes lots from consignments from some of the largest rental companies in the US and other regional dealers and rental companies.

“We have long aspired to enter the US market, so in acquiring this site in late 2012 we located Euro Auctions squarely at the hub of the American equipment industry,” said Euro Auctions’ David Betts. “Over recent years we’ve forged excellent relationships with major US companies and have already secured some exceptional construction and industrial machinery from across South East USA for this, our first US auction.”

With its elevated position and rolling topography, Euro Auctions new US site has a boundary of 1,402m fronting directly onto the Interstate and a further 853m on Raymond Hill; said to make it both easily accessible and highly visible to passing traffic. The site also has extensive hard top and over 4,645m² of onsite accommodation.

This auction marks the start of regular auctions at the Atlanta site, with another planned before the end of the year and four further auctions envisioned for 2014.
