The National Highway Authority of India is awarding a US$244 million road project to IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects (IVRCL).

The 292 National Highways Authority of India is awarding a US$244 million road project to 1318 IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects (IVRCL). IVRCL's subsidiary 1319 IVR Prime will upgrade a section on the Chengapalli to Coimbatore bypass into a six lanes, with three running in either direction. The firm will have a 27 year concession period for the project, including a construction phase of 30 months. In addition the firm will also handle a new four-lane road project near Coimbatore in India.

    The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded a US$182.5 million contract to widen the Yamunanagar-Saha-Barwala-Panchkula route in Haryana. Gammon Infrastructure Projects will handle the work, which will see the highway widened to four lanes. The construction work is expected to take 30 months and this forms part of a 22-year concession deal for the link. The work will be carried out under the design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) model.
