Accurate new total stations are offered by Nikon-Trimble
2375 Nikon-Trimble says that its latest Nikon NPL-322 Series of mechanical total stations offer more precise accuracy and performance. The range includes instruments with angular accuracy of 50.8mm and 127mm, with the former featuring dual-displays for productive angle measurement. Both NPL-322 total station models feature a reflectorless EDM with a range of 200m. High reliability is claimed and thee NPL-322 Series adds reflectorless measurement capabilities to the firm’s field-proven Nikon DTM-322 product line, as well as expanding the company’s range of mechanical total stations. According to the firm, the Nikon NPL-322 total stations are economical, versatile and easy-to-use, with efficient optics that give brighter, clearer images even in low-visibility conditions. The Nikon NPL-322 total stations include two rechargeable long life Li-ion batteries for long working shifts. The Nikon NPL-322 total stations are rugged, reliable, and with reflectorless capabilities, users can increase productivity and efficiency for survey and construction applications.
Liebherr will show a modular design flat-top tower crane in the 150EC-B at this year’s Bauma. The 150EC-B is available in FR.tronic, with traditional contractor controls, or Litronic version with programmable logic controls. The flat-top crane can be had in 6 tonne and 8 tonne versions, with a maximum hook height of 63m and maximum working radius of 60m. Lift capacity at full radius is 1,700kg.

From German firm Ruthmann comes the new Steiger T 7XX unit, which broadens its height performance access equipment series. Featuring sturdy construction, the unit is said to be both robust and durable with fine-grained steel used to maximise the performance of its telescoping boom.
