Hyundai shows Dash 9A excavators at INTERMAT

Updated excavators from Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe at INTERMAT included models from 26-52tonnes. With Dash 9A status, the excavators – ranging from the R260LC-9A to the R520LC-9A – get Cummins Stage IIIb emissions compliant engines.

Updated Dash 9A excavators get smart key technology
Updated excavators from 236 Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe at INTERMAT included models from 26-52tonnes. With Dash 9A status, the excavators – ranging from the R260LC-9A to the R520LC-9A – get 196 Cummins Stage IIIb emissions compliant engines.

Along with the change of engine, the excavators have also been fitted with smart key technology, LCD touch-screen display for machine settings and Bluetooth hands-free phone capability.

    The new R25Z-9A mini excavator from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HI) being showcased at bauma is said to fill a big gap in the company’s range between models R16-9 and R27Z-9 in the 2.6tonne class of mini crawler excavators. The latest mini excavator model has a Mitsubishi Tier 4 engine and Z rating. The Z stands for Zero-Turn-Radius, which means that the machine can turn within its own contours and so can work in extremely confined spaces and be fitted with buckets with a capacity of up to 0.07m³.     Hyundai Heavy Industries has signed a strategic partnership with German construction equipment manufacturer Atlas Weyhausen. The partnership covers four single rollers ranging from 7tonnes to 14tonnes and tandem rollers of 2.5tonne and 3tonne to be built by Atlas Weyhausen.
