Hitachi Zaxis 5 wheeled excavators deliver performance

Hitachi Construction Machinery is showing four models from its Zaxis 5 range of wheeled excavators. The ZX140W-5, ZX170W-5, ZX190W-5 and ZX220W-5 all feature Isuzu Stage IIIB emissions-compliant engines powering the HIOS III hydraulic system. Improved cab at the centre of Zaxis-5 update
233 Hitachi Construction Machinery is showing four models from its Zaxis 5 range of wheeled excavators. The ZX140W-5, ZX170W-5, ZX190W-5 and ZX220W-5 all feature 2724 Isuzu Stage IIIB emissions-compliant engines powering the HIOS III hydraulic system.

They benefit from increased lifting capacities, as the power boost function has been increased by 11%.

The machines have a revised ROPS cab that has been redesigned to improve visibility. A new monitor sits on the right-hand pillar with a rear-view camera providing visibility behind the machine. The monitor also provides a wide range of machine information, including service data and timings.
