Blasting has been carried out at the Hillhead quarry site to provide stone for machine demonstrations
The Hillhead 2022 quarry show will be in a larger site than ever before, with blasting having been carried out. Located in a quarry site in the UK, the exhibition will take place from 21st–23rd June 2022.

Blasting was carried out by EPC-UK. Two sections of the quarry face in the demonstration area at the north end of the site were drilled and blasted. This also produced around 30,000tonnes of run-of-quarry stone for equipment demonstration purposes at this year’s show.

After a gap of four years, the event will allow attendees to discover the latest developments in the quarry industry. There will be a record 600 exhibitors; more than 60 live demonstrations; and up to 20,000 quarrying, construction, and recycling professionals at Hillhead 2022. The exhibitor numbers already top those for the record setting 2018 event, while attendee numbers are also expected to be the highest ever.
