230 Hidromek believes its HMK102B backhoe loader will be a “major attraction” at Intermat 2012. The company, headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, says the HMK102B is the result of long studies, customer interviews and market research. The result is a machine that minimises fuel consumption and power losses to ensure greater efficiency, while offering an ergonomic and comfortable cabin for operators.
Fitted with a four-cylinder 257 John Deere engine, the 102B model draws on up to 73.82kW of power and has a bucket capacity of 0.17m³. The new backhoe loader has a standard model operating weight of 8,900kg and a boom dig depth of 4.46m. The telescopic boom model has a boom dig depth of 5.8m and an operating weight of 9,050kg.
The CESAR Home Office approved construction equipment security scheme will be showcased at Intermat 2012. Delivered by Datatag ID, CESAR scheme registered machines are said to be four times less likely to be stolen and six times more likely to be recovered than unregistered equipment.

JCB has launched its first five-stage-boom Loadall telescopic handler. The 540-200 has a 20m working height and a maximum lift capacity of 4tonnes. Using the same driveline as the 540-170, the machine is powered by JCB’s 75kW Dieselmax engine. The Loadall has a four-speed powershift transmission and uses a single servo joystick to control all boom functions.
