The German province of Baden- Württemberg has issued a list of 20 ready to be built federal trunk road projects worth a combined US$1.01billion (€800mn).The first five could be started in 2014 and the next five in 2015 or 2016.
A report is being compiled in Brazil regarding the state of the country’s road network. The report was compiled by the country’s national transport confederation, CNT, in July 2016. The report is due to be released in October 2016. However CNT says it is pessimistic about what the report will state. The preliminary figures from Germany's Federal Statistics Office, Destatis, show an increase in road deaths of 9.5% to 1,576 for the first six months of 2014.
