The German province of Baden- Württemberg has issued a list of 20 ready to be built federal trunk road projects worth a combined US$1.01billion (€800mn).The first five could be started in 2014 and the next five in 2015 or 2016.
Main road building projects in the Chinese city of Zhongshan are expected to cost US$5.45billion between 2011 and 2015. The $1.89billion bill for two new highways, which will cover a combined length of 80km, is due to be settled by Guangdong province authorities.
The Indian Government has set out plans to award highway projects worth at least US$8.84 billion during the next fiscal year.
