The new piling clamp from French firm Fayat allows piles to be placed efficiently and accurately
2779 Fayat Group has developed the Tiltex swivelling clamp for sheet pile handling. Specifically designed for excavator-mounted Vibrodrivers, the Tiltex clamp improves the handling of sheet piles and the productivity on piling projects. Using the clamp, operators can grab sheet piles stored on the ground and drive them directly without any other handling operations. Fayat said the clamp is equally as productive when removing sheet piles.
Dynapac continues to innovate with its paver range, following from previous developments in 2010 and 2011. Roadtec is briefing show visitors about its latest product developments, including the RX-600e cold planer and the SB-2500e Shuttle Buggy material transfer vehicle. Improvements in the new e-Series of the Shuttle Buggy include more resistance to conveyor wear and better operator visibility. Power comes from a Caterpillar diesel rated at 224kW, which meets the Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emissions legislation.

Monsieur Bernard Accoyer, the president of the French National Assembly, officially opened INTERMAT 2012 with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
