The new piling clamp from French firm Fayat allows piles to be placed efficiently and accurately
2779 Fayat Group has developed the Tiltex swivelling clamp for sheet pile handling. Specifically designed for excavator-mounted Vibrodrivers, the Tiltex clamp improves the handling of sheet piles and the productivity on piling projects. Using the clamp, operators can grab sheet piles stored on the ground and drive them directly without any other handling operations. Fayat said the clamp is equally as productive when removing sheet piles.
Simex has introduced a visual indication on its planning attachments – the Performer – which enables operators to utilise all a carrier machine’s available power while avoiding stalling. The patented system automatically resets to reflect each machine’s maximum power and, according to the company, the device typically improves production rates by 25 to 30%.

Called the XADN+, the new version is also claimed to offer improved tyre life – typically 8-10% over the XADN version said the French maker – while simultaneously reducing rolling resistance as a result of removing 14kg of dead weight from the tyre.
