The BM 600/15 has a 93kW engine, which is enough power said the company, to achieve a milling depth of 210mm.

In addition to the standard milling width of 600mm, the cold planer is available with narrower 500mm or 400mm drums. The planer comes in a 3-wheel standard version, but is also optionally available as a four-wheeler.

Bomag has developed the planer to allow the operator a clear view of the milling edge and material removals truck. And the milling depth display is located within the operator’s field of vision.

The planer also has a quick fit conveyor belt system that is said to be easy to adjust.

Opposite in the size scale to Merlo’s other Intermat 2012 machines, the ‘Grand Roto’ 60.24 MCSS and the 40.30MCSS, is the tiny P25.6 SuperCompact telehandler. Only 1,800mm wide, the P25.6 is said to fit into the smallest of site applications. Although being small aids manoeuvrability, Merlo says this has not led to a compromise on cab comfort. The machine’s cab is said to have exactly the same 995m size as all the other Merlo machines. Merlo claims that, unlike many other compact handlers, the P25.6 has exc

JCB has launched its first five-stage-boom Loadall telescopic handler. The 540-200 has a 20m working height and a maximum lift capacity of 4tonnes. Using the same driveline as the 540-170, the machine is powered by JCB’s 75kW Dieselmax engine. The Loadall has a four-speed powershift transmission and uses a single servo joystick to control all boom functions.

The diesel-operated Liftlux 245-25 by JLG is well-known, like the rest of the Liftlux range, for its extremely rigid and stable triple-arm scissor, giving the operator a comfortable work environment, even when the lift is elevated at full height. Because of the model’s 500kg platform capacity and large roll-out deck that extends the platform to 5.40metres, it’s said by JLG to offer an ideal solution for use around jobsites when heavy units have to be installed at great height overhead.
