€250 million will be spent on a French infrastructure project north of Paris

A €250 million project will improve transport for the municipality of Soisy-sous-Montmorency in the Val-d'Oise department, to the north of Paris. A new 2km road will be built, as well as four tunnel sections measuring 300m.

The aim of the work is to reduce traffic congestion on Avenue Kellermann, which carries an average of 37,500 vehicles/day. Building the new road and tunnel sections will reduce traffic on Avenue Kellermann to an average 23,000 vehicles/day, cutting journey times for drivers.

The construction work should take 36 months to complete, with work due to commence shortly.
