ENH shows bitumen emulsion plant technology at INTERMAT

ENH may operate in 60 countries but its bitumen emulsion plants are relatively new to the French market. But interest from French contractors at the show is proving high, said managing director Erik Haugaard. Mobile ENH equipment is typically used for producing a mix for road repairs. Mobile ENH equipment is typically used for producing a mix for road repairs. Basing the ENH mill near to where repairs are taking place enables the patching equipment to return at regular intervals for a new supply of material.

Part of an ENH mill is on display, sharing a stand with 5080 Schäfer-technic, whose latest Blow Patcher can also be seen.

  • ENH thinks small with new bitumen emulsion plant
    April 23, 2015
Specialist bitumen plant manufacturer ENH has launched a mini in-line emulsion plant with a capacity of between 2 and 4 tonnes an hour. This contrasts with ENH’s usual size of plant which produces around 50 tonnes an hour. “It’s very mobile which means you can move it around and make the emulsion where you need it,” says ENH managing director Erik Haugaard.

  • Astec show model of relocateable asphalt plant
    January 6, 2017
Astec has brought along a detailed model of a complete relocateable asphalt plant to explain the key features. The plant incorporates double-barrel technology. A continuous process delivers virgin aggregates or 50% recycled material into the inner drum where it is dried. The aggregate then drops out to the outer drum, where bitumen is injected. Advantages include guaranteed mixing times and being able to heat the material within a single system.
