Exhibition space is now sold out for the E&E Event 2018 – Euroasphalt & Eurobitume - coming to Berlin, June 14-15.

But early registration for a discount is still available, however the deadline is fast approaching – April 16.

The finalised programme will soon be published for the E&E Event 2018 that will focus on the preparations needed by the asphalt industry to ensure it is fit for purpose in the future.

Important strategic issues will be explored, some of which were highlighted in the E&E Congress 2016. These include the increasingly stringent economic aspects of supply and demand, the growing environmental issues over highway construction and use, health and safety within the sector and, as ever, the latest technologies and equipment.

The facilitator will again be Katrina Sichel, back moderating after leading the successful E&E Event 2016. This year’s event will be based on a completely new format. The programme will be centred around a series of professionally-facilitated sessions using debates, workshops and information exchanges, supported by online tools that allow attendees to have their own say.

Attendees will hear about road financing initiatives, the European Union’s Eurovignette Directive as well as ideas on who pays and for what. The latest low-rolling resistance asphalt will be examined, along with more sustainable pavements and how to reduce CO2 emissions along highways.

The venue is Vienna House, Andel’s Berlin and a networking dinner - included in the registration fee – will be held within the historical industrial architecture of the 100-year-old pumping station, Wasserwerk Berlin.
