Novel air-conditioning technology is developed by Eberspaecher
German heating and climate control equipment specialist 7245 Eberspaecher is offering new thermal management products for construction vehicles. The innovations include a new generation of operating elements as well as air outlets and the high performance Ebercool X-Treme roof top air conditioner. In addition, the company is showing an integrated heating and climate control module for the driver’s cab. Simple and robust, the new EasyStart Select features a straightforward design and this operating element for air and water heaters is specifically designed for use in tough conditions. All adjustments can be made using only three buttons on the EasyStart Select. There is also a display on the housing surface. The new modular air outlet range being introduced reduces time and effort when fitting air heaters. Four custom-fit connecting pieces provide the connection to the air duct. There is no need for an additional hose clip to secure the intersecting point, simplifying installation. The new Ebercool X-Treme stationary cooling system has an integrated dust filter in the roof area that effectively cleans the aspirated air. The compact and robust Ebercool X-Treme operates on an evaporation basis and is said to be efficient and effective. Water is used as a coolant, making the system easy to maintain and it is also compact and lightweight, which allows rapid retrofitting. Eberspaecher is also showing the HV 609, a new evaporator for drivers’ cabs. The compact module has a very flat design and has been developed specially for the space between the external roof construction and the driver’s compartment. As an HVAC unit, the evaporator performs both heating and cooling functions.
