Dynapac’s new pavers rise to emission challenge

Dynapac’s innovative new six-strong tracked asphalt paver range has been engineered to meet future exhaust emission regulations. The SD2500CS, SD2550C and SD2550CS are powered by Cummins QSB 6.7 water-cooled turbo-diesel engines and meet the Tier 4 interim / Stage IIIB regulations.

    Guntert & Zimmerman (G&Z) has launched the new S600 multi-purpose concrete slipform paver at INTERMAT. According to company spokesperson David Lipari, the S600 is designed to address the markets shift from large dual lane, mainline paving jobs to smaller cut-up projects. “The S600 is designed to fulfill the need for a small or medium, versatile, multi-purpose paver that retains the ability to achieve good smoothness numbers,” said Lipari.

    Atlas Copco Construction Equipment is launching its new F800T tracked paver into the US market. The F800T is a 2.44m class paver and is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 diesel rated at 127kW that meets the Tier 4 Final emissions requirements. The firm says that this is a productive and stable paver for its class, while the hydraulic components are oversized with many of same units as the firm’s larger F1000 paver to ensure reliability and longevity.
