Doosan’s big Chinese reveal

Several new machines are being launched by Doosan and sister firm Bobcat at bauma China. Several new machines are being launched by Doosan and sister firm Bobcat at bauma China.

A key launch for the 6902 Doosan Infracore Heavy display will be its new DX700LC, the top-of-the-range model in the Doosan excavator range. The 70tonne DX700LC excavator is designed and built to meet the needs of heavy duty quarrying applications as well as major infrastructure projects. It offers several features intended to boost productivity, comfort, reliability, durability and uptime. The DX700LC model will be shown alongside the Doosan DX500LC, DX420LC and DX380LC large excavators, which share many features. Also on show will be the DH225LC-9 and DX230LC medium sized excavators and the DX60 mini-excavator. Complementing these will be the new, six model DXB breaker range; the DXB35H, DXB45H, DXB90H, DXB160H, DXB170H and DXB190H.

Doosan will also be exhibiting the latest DA40 ADT at bauma China, which is powered by the six cylinder 759 Scania DC13 diesel in Tier 2 configuration for China and which delivers 368kW.

The firm will also show the new generation DL550 wheeled loader, the top-of-the-range model which features a bucket capacity of 5.4m3.

For China the DL550 wheel loader is powered by a Tier 2, 12.7litre Scania DC13 diesel, which delivers 294kW. The DL550 will be shown alongside the 503Gold, DL507 and DL501 wheeled loader models.

The firm’s 1130 Bobcat range will include the new generation T770 compact tracked loader and A770 all wheel steer loader. Both models are powered by the 68.6kW 1265 Kubota diesel and the T770 and A770 have replaced the earlier T300/T320 and A300 machines, respectively. The operating capacity for the T770 compact tracked loader is 1.6tonnes and it has an operating weight of 47tonnes. The A770 AWS loader has an operating weight of 4.3tonnes and an operating capacity of 1.55tonnes.

Three Doosan portable compressors will be shown including the large XHP1070WDO model with a free air delivery of 30.3m3/min of compressed air at a rated pressure of 24.1bar. Doosan will also be showing the G630E generator with a prime output of 495kW, which is the largest of the company’s 10 model diesel generator range.
