Doosan is offering its new emissions compliant engine

Doosan is now offering its new DL06K engine, which is designed to meet the needs of the Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emissions requirements. Delivering 91kW at 1,950rpm, this six cylinder diesel is said to be both powerful and economical and weighs in at 900kg. Common rail, direct injection feeds the fuel to this 5.9litre four stroke diesel engine, which is also turbocharged.

695 Doosan is now offering its new DL06K engine, which is designed to meet the needs of the Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emissions requirements. Delivering 91kW at 1,950rpm, this six cylinder diesel is said to be both powerful and economical and weighs in at 900kg. Common rail, direct injection feeds the fuel to this 5.9litre four stroke diesel engine, which is also turbocharged. Exhaust gas recirculation is used to maximise efficiency and reduce emissions to the levels required for the European and US regulations. For use in the new DX180LC-3 excavator, the DL06K engine delivers 88kW at 1,950rpm and in this installation the turbo charging features an air to air intercooler.

    Doosan Construction Equipment has shown a prototype of its 6tonne DX62R-3, a replacement for the DX60R. Due to be launched in the second half of the year, the machine delivers a 33% increase in hydraulic flow from a new load sensing system.
