Doosan's DX225LCA excavator live at INTERMAT
The new 695 Doosan DX225LCA excavator being launched at Intermat has an operating weight of between 21.5 and 23.2tonnes, depending on the configuration. Its bucket capacity ranges from 0.39 to 1.28m3. It also has a digging depth of 6,620 mm, a reach of 9,900mm and a digging height of 9,750 mm.

The new machine is also equipped with an air to air intercooler 6-cylinder Doosan DB58TIS Tier 2 compliant engine, capable of developing 110 kW of power. The DX225LCA is also said by Doosan to provide impressive bucket and dipper stick breakout forces of 15.2 and 12.6tonnes respectively.

Selected via the new in-cab LCD colour display panel, the excavator has three operating modes – power, standard and economy. This is said to offer significant reductions in fuel consumption.
Meanwhile, the operator cab space has been significantly increased, and the comfort, seat and joystick controls are all said by Doosan to have been improved.
