Doosan 7/20 portable compressor is among the machines that will be taking part in the new company branding scheme.
3771 Doosan Portable Power, who will be exhibiting at INTERMAT 2012, has introduced a new branding scheme for the company’s leading ranges of portable air compressors, generators and lighting towers.

Under the new scheme, the front and back ends of the compressor, light tower and generator products now carry the three-colour Doosan corporate logo, whilst the sides of these units have the large Doosan black product logo.

The products were added to the Doosan range when the company acquired several of the construction equipment businesses of 3773 Ingersoll Rand in 2007, along with the 1130 Bobcat, 3772 Geith and 2396 Montabert ranges.

Retaining a link with the past, the air compressors will still carry a small Ingersoll Rand logo on two sides of the products until the end of 2012 gaining, according to Doosan, the full benefit from the weight that the brand still carries in the marketplace. For the generators and CE built light towers, the transition to the new Doosan branding is said to represent the final branding design. The Ingersoll Rand decal is no longer present on these products.

The portable compressor range from Doosan Portable Power is described as one of the most comprehensive on the market, with 25 models running from the compact 7/20 portable compressor, to the large 10/425 Oil-Free machine covering free air deliveries from 1.9 to 45.5 m3/min at output pressures from 7 to 25bar.

Like the compressors, the generator range from Doosan Portable Power is designed for rental, construction and general industrial markets worldwide. It offers a selection of 11 highly engineered mobile and portable generator models with prime power outputs at rated speed from 20 to 500kVA.

Built to withstand the rigours of everyday applications in the toughest conditions, the Doosan light tower range is aimed at plant hire, construction and roadwork projects as well as many other applications ranging from temporary lighting at the scenes of accidents, fires and other emergency situations; to lighting at industrial sites, airports, warehouses and concerts and other leisure events.

At INTERMAT 2012, Doosan Portable Power will be exhibiting its new series of large portable compressors, as well as the 7/26E+ and 7/31E+ Tough Top portable compressors and the G150-IIIA (150 kVA prime power) and G200-IIIA (200 kVA prime power) generators, which meet the EU Stage IIIA engine emission regulations for generators that came into force in January 2011.
