Doosan to launch improved 6tonne midi

Doosan Construction Equipment has shown a prototype of its 6tonne DX62R-3, a replacement for the DX60R. Due to be launched in the second half of the year, the machine delivers a 33% increase in hydraulic flow from a new load sensing system. Digging forces are said to be greatly improved, with bucket force now up to 4,400kg, and increase of 7%, while dipper arm force is up to 2.9tonnes. DX60R-3 will offer more power and performance
695 Doosan Construction Equipment has shown a prototype of its 6tonne DX62R-3, a replacement for the DX60R.

This improved performance has been combined with a longer arm for a larger working range.

The machine uses the same cab that features on larger models, with a new colour monitor that allows operators to control auxiliary flow and to monitor service periods. It also provides all vital machine function information and access to a password lock-out anti-theft system.

The DX62R-3 is powered by a Stage IIIA engine, delivering 36.2kW of power. Electronic injection control and an auto idle function result in improved fuel consumption.

With an operating weight of 6,130kg, the DX62R-3 has a digging depth of 3,815mm and a reach at ground level of 6,100mm.
