To achieve further sales revenue growth, Kurzmann said Latin America, North America and India were Doka’s key markets.

Kurzmann said the company is seeking to achieve “very ambitious” sales revenue of €905million in 2013.

At the firm’s impressive cube-shaped 688 Bauma 2013 stand Doka unveiled, among other new formwork solutions, Doka CC (cut-and-cover). It is the company’s first system to be designed for cut-and-cover tunnel construction. With Doka CC, different types of traffic tunnel, such as rail or road tunnels, are claimed to be able to be built quickly, efficiently and safely.

Doka said it had used hi-tech construction materials and products, including the composite formwork beam 1 tec 20, to create the innovative tunnel solution.

Boasting a 6,000-strong workforce, Doka is exhibiting at bauma under the slogan: ‘Pathbreaking. Beyond solutions’.

Doka is inviting Conexpo 2014 visitors to take a look into the future of formwork technology – with the Austrian firm’s DokaTruss table and Super Climber SCP on show. A modular forming machine optimised for highrise cores, Doka says the new and improved version of the proven Super Climber SCP has been “rigorously developed”. In combination with DokaTruss table, a system aimed for setting and stripping large slab formwork, high speed construction cycles can, says Doka, be achieved efficiently. In the Comp

myPERI online portal will be presented in detail at a major construction equipment industry trade show for the first time during bauma. It gives customers of the internationally-renowned German formwork solution company round-the-clock access to extensive technical information and specific project data for their PERI construction sites. Project-specific reports, which offer, principally, a detailed overview of material stocks and flows, are said to be particularly advantageous for construction work.
