Diverto reveals Q-Synchro prototype at INTERMAT

Dutch company Diverto Technologies used INTERMAT to show a prototype multi-purpose vehicle called the Q-Synchro 100. Said to combine the capabilities of an excavator, forklift, tractor and loader in one machine, the Q-Synchro 100 features a full-width two-door cab, 75kW engine and twin-range hydrostatic transmission offering a 40kph road speed.
Aimed at utility customers, local authorities and landscape contractors, the innovative machine features an offset boom, and boom folding similar to that used on truck-mounted cranes.

Diverto MD Leonard Huissoon said the Q-Synchro 100’s boom design gives its operator a clear view to the attachment carriage.

“The boom system offers a 1,700kg lift capacity, a 3m dig depth and the ability to use pallet forks with a reverse drive system,” he said.

The four-wheel drive chassis gets two-wheel steering and four-wheel drive – the larger rear wheels benefitting the rear three-point linkage and PTO, with its 2,000kg lift capacity and 540/1000rpm capability for rear mounted attachments.

Scheduled to go into production in the Autumn of 2012, the machine is expected to carry a €100,000 price tag.
