Deo Ca to complete Vietnam tunnel road project by 2016

The major investor in a 13.4km tunnel road project set to link Co Ma Commune in Khanh Hoa Province and Hao Son Commune in Phu Yen Province in Vietnam has been told by a senior Government figure that the project must be completed by 2016.

The major investor in a 13.4km tunnel road project set to link Co Ma Commune in Khanh Hoa Province and Hao Son Commune in Phu Yen Province in Vietnam has been told by a senior Government figure that the project must be completed by 2016.

The Deo Ca Investment Joint Stock Company (Deo Ca) supported works were highlighted by Huynh Ngoc Son, the vice chairman of the National Assembly. The tunnel road has overall investment amount of USD$750million (VND 15.60tn). The project will support industrial zone, big-scale economic hub and tourism site development projects in Vietnam’s central region. It is also likely to lower traffic mishaps on National Highway 1A. Drilling works for the scheme began on 18 November, 2012.
