In the US 2698 Delcan is to provide quality management services for a design-build Project for the Ohio Department of Transportation. The project involves rebuilding the I-670 and I-71 interchange in Columbus. As a member of the Kokosing Construction design-build team, Delcan will review the design and inspect and test all construction work to confirm compliance to contract requirements. Delcan's quality management data system will be integrated with project schedule, budget and risk management tools and will maximise the use of digital data with GPS enabled field data collection tools. Specific functions performed as part of Delcan's scope include engineering design verification, construction inspection, site survey verification, materials sampling and testing, document management for project records, coordination of project closeout and progress monitoring.

The project includes the reconstruction of one of the busiest sections of Ohio's Interstate system within the heart of Columbus. During the estimated project duration of 38 months, more than 20 new bridge structures, several miles of mechanically stabilised earth walls and over 160 lane km of new interstate highway will be constructed.
