Dalian budget

Dalian city, China, has set out a budget worth some US$2.3 billion for 45 key projects in 2012, including the construction of 300km of rural roads and 254km of trunk roads. Two highway construction projects stretching over 55km are also included: the Zhuanghe–Gaizhou Expressway and Dalian Bay Port Area Expressway. Changshan Bridge's main section is to be completed in 2012.

Dalian city, China, has set out a budget worth some US$2.3 billion for 45 key projects in 2012, including the construction of 300km of rural roads and 254km of trunk roads.

    The first stage of a controversial Russian bridge project is now complete, with the link having been opened to use by cars and buses. The Kerch Strait bridge spans the Black Sea, connecting Russia’s Taman Peninsula in Krasnodar with Crimea, the latter having been controversially annexed by Russia from Ukraine in 2014.     A series of highway projects have been budgeted for China’s Henan Province. In all some US$15.8 billion will be spent on 14 separate highway projects, which will stretch in excess of 1,000km in all. The projects are starting in 2022. The work includes building seven cross-provincial highways, three urban highways and two Zhengzhou City highways. They also include building two Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway diversion highways.

    Mexico is setting a budget for road development works during the coming year. A budget of US$4.14 billion has been set for rebuilding existing roads and building new links during 2019. This budget has been set by the Mexican Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT).
