D3 Tabor-Veseli motorway section in Czech Republic opens

The newly built US$522.81 million (CZK 10.45bn) D3 motorway section between Tabor and Veseli nad Luznici in the Czech Republic has officially opened. The partially EU funded 25km route was built by a consortium of four companies Eurovia CS, Strabag, Metrostav and Inzinierske Stavby. The motorway section includes 48 bridges, 277 construction objects and ten sound barriers.

The newly built US$522.81 million (CZK 10.45bn) D3 motorway section between Tabor and Veseli nad Luznici in the Czech Republic has officially opened.

The partially EU funded 25km route was built by a consortium of four companies 3281 Eurovia CS, 945 Strabag, Metrostav and 6009 Inzinierske Stavby. The motorway section includes 48 bridges, 277 construction objects and ten sound barriers.

    Poland’s General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) reports that that the three bids for the Czestochowa A1 motorway section exceed the agency’s budget.   • Strabag refinances Ireland’s N17/N18 project between Gort and Tuam

    The European-based technology group for construction services, Strabag, has initiated and led the first successful refinancing of an Irish motorway public-private partnership (PPP) project. In a written statement, Strabag said that the N17/N18 project between Gort and Tuam “is benefiting from improved financial market conditions while still in the construction phase”.
