The construction costs of the new Mafraq-Ghweifat in Abu Dhabi have been thrown into the spotlight.

The construction costs of the new Mafraq-Ghweifat in Abu Dhabi have been thrown into the spotlight. The Abu Dhabi Government is discussing the issue with the consortium that is leading the running to build the link, a partnership headed up by Austrian contractor 945 Strabag. The Abu Dhabi Government is keen to reduce the cost of the project, with bids currently standing at around US$2.72 billion.
