Construction starts on Yichang section of China’s Yichang-Yueyang expressway

Construction works have begun on the Yichang section of China’s new Yichang-Yueyang expressway. Covering 51.8km, the Yichang expressway section will cost around US$613.35 million (CNY 3.82bn).

By the end of 2015, the total expressway distance in Shanxi Province should reach some 6,300km, from 4,000km in 2011.
