“We have a very good dealer in the UK, one in the Netherlands and one in Spain and we hope to talk to French equipment dealers this week,” said E-Z Drill vice president Randy Stevens.

E-Z Drill has had previous experience of major European construction shows after attending previous 688 Bauma events, although its plans to exhibit at the 2010 show were thwarted by the Iceland volcano eruption, leaving personnel unable to fly into Germany from the States.

A family-run business established in Oklahoma in 1997, Stevens said E-Z Drill had achieved success in emerging markets.

“We have customers in Dubai, Afghanistan and Iraq. We’re also doing well in Turkey. Our usual way into the market is through airport construction work, which always involves concrete. Our most popular machines are the slab-riders, with some able to drill up to five holes at a time.”
