Constructing above its weight

The Kramer Allrad 550 wheel-loader is said to be a machine that constructs above its weight. Despite the machine’s compact design, Kramer claims it offers operators the “full loader performance” of a “big machine”. One of two recently to market Kramer machines for the 0.6m³ class, the 550 is aimed mainly at customers in the construction industry, rental fleets and local authorities.

The 4849 Kramer Allrad 550 wheel-loader is said to be a machine that constructs above its weight.

Despite the machine’s compact design, Kramer claims it offers operators the “full loader performance” of a “big machine”. One of two recently to market Kramer machines for the 0.6m³ class, the 550 is aimed mainly at customers in the construction industry, rental fleets and local authorities.

Like the Kramer 650 compact wheel-loader, the 550 has an all-wheel steering mechanism which speeds up materials handling. The 550’s non-articulated chassis is said by Kramer to ensure high stability due to the constant centre of gravity. It also has traction drive.

Technical attributes of the 550 include the parallel telescopic arm designed to achieve maximum reach, enabling loads such as pallets to be moved in and out from the second row. Fitting an optional stabiliser also increases safety and comfort, while simultaneously protecting the machine.

    April 13, 2012
While lift heights remain unchanged from 10-13m, increased lift capacities can now be found across Liebherr’s four-model telehandler range, which now offers 4.1 and 5 tonne lift capabilities. And the range has been rebadged to reflect the new muscle now available. It means models numbers become TL 441-10, TL 441-13, TL 451-10 and TL 451-13. All models use a four-cylinder turbocharged engine rated at 74kW, with a hydrostatic transmission taking care of drive to all four wheels. Three steering modes remain –
