Problems have arisen with Colombia's Autopista del Bicentenario highway project. The Colombian Infrastructure Chamber (CCI) is calling for the tender for project to be suspended. The issue is that the time frame for the tender is thought to be insufficient to develop a comprehensive traffic study. The Autopista del Bicentenario project is expected to cost US$243 million and will require building 14.7km of dual carriageway.
