China lines up its top construction equipment experts for CTO 2013

The details of the 2013 China Construction Machinery Technology Development Forum (CTO Summit) have now been finalised and the event is taking place from 21 June 2013 to 23 June 2013 at the Shengjuefeisi Hotel in Changsha with product innovation and industrial change as the key themes. 2013 “is the 20th anniversary of China Construction Machinery Society,” say the organisers, and “the forum will focus on green, environmental protection and sustainable development.”

2013 “is the 20th anniversary of China Construction Machinery Society,” say the organisers, and “the forum will focus on green, environmental protection and sustainable development.”

The event has been set up from scratch to be China’s annual “platform for the exchange of ideas, strategies, problems and solutions” as well as forum to explore “the technology and management” issues facing the construction equipment sector in the country.

Topics for debate include engine pollution control, energy efficiency, the latest thinking on hybrid power, hydraulic control technology, transmission developments, supply chain management and a “road map of Chinese construction equipment innovation.”

Speakers include Liu Xinhui, the Dean of the Mechanical College of Jilin University and senior engineer at STW Corporation (Germany); Wang Changjiang, senior advisor of China Hydraulic Pneumatic Seal Industry Association; Jiao Shengjie, professor of Chang'an University; Feng Pei’en, the former vice principal of Zhejiang University and chairman of the Chinese Excavator Association; Cao Donghui, president of 1170 Sany Heavy Machinery Research Institute; Yang Dongsheng, vice president of 3711 Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Company; Xu Xiaoshu, president of Huashu Tech-Center; Wang Yukun, director of information technology at 1175 Zoomlion Heavy Industry; and Dr Lin Baojun, deputy director of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai.
