Chile’s urban motorways generated profits of US$113.21mn in 2012

Urban motorways generated profits of US$ 113.21 million (CLP 53.46bn) in Chile in 2012 - 105% higher than 2010, and 52% higher than 2011. The country’s urban motorways also generated revenues of $523.755 million (CLP 246.06bn) in 2012, 14% higher than 2010. An increase of 23% in car sales between 2010 and 2012 is thought to be behind these excellent results.
