Fuel efficiency and advanced hydraulics re key features of Caterpillar's 326 d L excavator
High productivity, versatility and reduced operating costs are said by 2294 CAT to be stand out features of its new 326D L hydraulic excavator, being launched this week at bauma China 2012. Weighing 25.87tonnes and powered by a Cat C7 engine rated at 140kW, the 326D L model is said to have heavy duty upper and lower structures and a spacious cab. Low fuel consumption is claimed due to the efficient hydraulics and multi-mode hydraulics, which allow operators to configure performance to best match the operating cycle. Pilot-operated hydraulics and dual pumps also help boost performance, while hydraulic regeneration technology maximises efficiency. A heavy duty, x-shaped carbody resists torsional stresses and ensures the machine is rugged and durable and also provides stability in hard operating conditions. The ergonomically-designed cab reduces noise and provides operator comfort, as well as good all round visibility.%$Linker: 2 Asset <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?><dictionary /> 2 12692 0 oLinkExternal www.cat.com www.cat.com false /EasySiteWeb/GatewayLink.aspx?alId=12692 true false%>
