Compact AP300D paver is ideal for urban streets
178 Caterpillar has added the AP300D wheeled paver to its range, providing a highly mobile, compact machine that is said to be ideal for car parks, urban streets, cycle and walking paths.

Weighing 7,400kg, the machine is easy to transport yet offers a paving range of 1.7-3.2m wide. With extensions, the AP300D can pave up to 4m widths.

A tight turning circle and a rapid 16km/h travel speeds make it easy to navigate the machine around the job site.

The operator station has twin seats and a single sliding control console. The adjustable seats can be extended beyond the machine frame for improved visibility of the paving area. There is also the option of manual or hydraulic folding canopies, both of which have extending wings to cover the operator beyond the frame.

Powered by a 55.5kW Cat C4.4 ACERT engine with 55.5kW, the machine uses an AS3173 screed with electrically heated screed plates. Temperature sensors and multi-zone heating elements in each section, including optional extensions ensure quick, even heat distribution.
