Bridge deal for Slovakia

The tender process will open in Slovakia shortly for a new €60.4 million bridge project in Trencin. The bidding process will be handled by SSC, Slovakia's road management company. The work is expected to require 36 months to complete. The deadline for tender documents is 20th April 2011 and bids must be submitted by 22nd June 2011. Bidders have to prove that their turnover from construction works exceeded ?25 million, excluding taxes, in the last three years and have experience of building at least two bridges longer than 100m in the last five years. The previous tender process for the project was cancelled in May 2010 of legal issues.
