Bonfiglioli Trasmital has developed a new series of travel drive gearboxes for use in large, heavy duty tracked machines. The firm is now offering three new product sizes, the 722C, 724C and 726C, which extend its range of tracked travel drives. The 722C develops a maximum torque of up to 330,000Nm, making it suitable for use on excavators of 120-150tonnes, as well as cranes and drilling rigs of 180-230tonnes. The 724C develops a maximum torque of up to 450,000Nm, and is specially designed for large cranes

Bonfiglioli develops new series of travel drives
5073 Bonfiglioli Trasmital has developed a new series of travel drive gearboxes for use in large, heavy duty tracked machines. The firm is now offering three new product sizes, the 722C, 724C and 726C, which extend its range of tracked travel drives. The 722C develops a maximum torque of up to 330,000Nm, making it suitable for use on excavators of 120-150tonnes, as well as cranes and drilling rigs of 180-230tonnes. The 724C develops a maximum torque of up to 450,000Nm, and is specially designed for large cranes and drilling rigs of up to 300tonnes. Finally, the 726C transmits a maximum torque of up to 625,000Nm, for use in excavators of up to 350tonnes and cranes and drilling rigs of up to 400tonnes.
Perkins has completed its line-up of four-cylinder engines for Tier 4 Final/Stage IV with the introduction of the 854F-E34TA – the latest in its 800 Series range. The compact, four-cylinder, 3.4litre engine incorporates specially developed SCR technology for the first time. Packaged separately from the DOC module, it can be mounted in either a horizontal or vertical position, giving OEMs of compact machinery greater installation flexibility in the engine bay.

Marini’s new eTOWER 2500 asphalt plant on show at bauma 2013 is capable of producing 200tonnes/hour of asphalt. Details of the full Fayat-owned Marini brand range will also be available at the world’s biggest construction equipment show in the Fayat Group’s ‘Asphalt Pavilion’. The Pavilion, which will include touchscreen and videowall presentations, will include a special focus on Marini mobile and warm mix asphalt lines.
Bauma 2013 will see the former Waitzinger concrete pump range in Liebherr livery for the first time, following the purchase of the company in October 2012. Liebherr will show four pumps, including the compact 41 M5XXT and the high capacity THP 160H/36 R4XXH. This truck-mounted pump has a four-section 36m boom yet sits on the narrow XXH outrigger supports and is capable of handling up to 160m3/h of concrete delivery.
