Bonfiglioli Trasmital has developed a new series of travel drive gearboxes for use in large, heavy duty tracked machines. The firm is now offering three new product sizes, the 722C, 724C and 726C, which extend its range of tracked travel drives. The 722C develops a maximum torque of up to 330,000Nm, making it suitable for use on excavators of 120-150tonnes, as well as cranes and drilling rigs of 180-230tonnes. Bonfiglioli develops new series of travel drives
5073 Bonfiglioli Trasmital has developed a new series of travel drive gearboxes for use in large, heavy duty tracked machines. The firm is now offering three new product sizes, the 722C, 724C and 726C, which extend its range of tracked travel drives. The 722C develops a maximum torque of up to 330,000Nm, making it suitable for use on excavators of 120-150tonnes, as well as cranes and drilling rigs of 180-230tonnes. The 724C develops a maximum torque of up to 450,000Nm, and is specially designed for large cranes and drilling rigs of up to 300tonnes. Finally, the 726C transmits a maximum torque of up to 625,000Nm, for use in excavators of up to 350tonnes and cranes and drilling rigs of up to 400tonnes.
Sandvik Construction has added the DC125R to its DC family of compact top hammer drill rigs. The remote-controlled self-propelled rig has a four-wheeled carrier that can also be equipped with rubber tracks for added mobility in difficult terrain. Liebherr will show a modular design flat-top tower crane in the 150EC-B at this year’s Bauma. The 150EC-B is available in FR.tronic, with traditional contractor controls, or Litronic version with programmable logic controls. The flat-top crane can be had in 6 tonne and 8 tonne versions, with a maximum hook height of 63m and maximum working radius of 60m. Lift capacity at full radius is 1,700kg.

While draglines are now a rarity, Sennebogen showed its 50tonne operating weight duty cycle crawler crane, the 650HD, with 2.33 dragline bucket. The machine is one of a 10-model range with operating weights from 20-180tonnes and engines between 119 and 708kW. It can be used in civil engineering, mining, demolition or material handling.
