Bolivian road expansion

Bolivia's road network is to benefit from loans provided by the Andean Development Corporation (CAF).

Bolivia's road network is to benefit from loans provided by the Andean Development Corporation (CAF). The funding will help pay for construction of the Uyuni-Huancarani road in Potosi department and the Huancarani-Cruce Condo K road in Oruro. The roads total 167km and the loans are worth a total of US$104.3 million. The project will be carried out by Bolivian road management firm 3542 Administradora Boliviana de Carreteras (ABC).

    Financing has been secured for key road reconstruction projects in Cambodia. Work is being carried out on six road projects in the country that measure a total of 600km, as well as a bridge, with this all costing some US$490 million. A loan of $94 million will help pay for the rebuilding of Cambodia’s National Road No 11 as well as a stretch of bypass.     Funding has been secured to help pay for road rebuilding work in Puerto Rico. The US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is providing US$110 million to Puerto Rico’s highway and transportation agency, Autoridad de Carreteras y Transportacion (ACT). This funding will be used for Puerto Rico’s Road Construction and Reconstruction Accelerated Programme.
