China's Gansu Province is to benefit from a major new highway connection. Work on the Cheng county-Wudu highway is scheduled to start at the end of August 2010.

China's Gansu Province is to benefit from a major new highway connection. Work on the Cheng county-Wudu highway is scheduled to start at the end of August 2010. This will be a major new multi-lane highway and is expected to cost in the region of US$1.61 billion to complete. The Cheng county-Wudu highway will stretch 90.5km when it is open to traffic.

    Brazil's São Paulo state is due to call a tender by March 28 2014 to concession its Tamoios highway, a government official is reported to have told regional media.
