The organisers of the 2730 BICES 2011 event claim that this will be a world class exhibition. The 11th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2011) will be held in the Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Centre and will see a 25% growth from the previous event, both in terms of the number of the exhibitors and floor space.

The covered area of the show will be around 70,000m² in its three indoor halls and the total show area will cover close to 200,000m² including the outdoor exhibits. So far, 120,000m² of the Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Center has already been booked. With an area of nearly 200,000m², BICES 2011 will break records in terms of the number of exhibitors, scope of the exhibits and the scale. The organisers claim that this will make BICES 2011 the largest exhibition of this type in the Asia-Pacific region during this year.

The show will have more international exhibitors, group enterprises and new companies. A huge growth in the number of international exhibitors has resulted in the establishment of an independent international pavilion. Meanwhile China's larger domestic companies will exhibit as group enterprises and with larger show area than at the previous event. Both domestic and international exhibitors will reveal cutting-edge technologies.

A key theme of the event will be on sustainable technologies in China. Advanced engine systems from firms such as 196 Cummins, 201 Deutz, 2729 Fiat, 2724 Isuzu, 299 Perkins and 2728 Toyota, as well as Shangchai and 2731 Weichai will be unveiled. BICES has also expanded the scope of the exhibits. In addition to the earth-moving machinery, the event will showcase crushing and screening machinery and equipment used at the construction site. With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information, emergency and rescue equipment exhibition will be held by 2735 China Construction Machinery Association and the concept design contest for construction machinery and special vehicle will be run jointly China Construction Machinery Association and 269 LiuGong.

A simultaneous event will be the summit for global construction machinery industry manufacturers. The organisers aim to attract more visitors and have upgraded the links to the exhibition ground. Visitor invitations have been extended to over 40 domestic and international industry associations. And nearly 20 visitor delegations from Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Ghana and Syria have confirmed their participation in BICES. The upcoming BICES will be held from Oct 18 to 21, 2011 in Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Centre, with nearly 1,200 exhibitors.
